Camp is open to players ages 11-18 ------ SOLD OUT $95 per player

Camp Date: July 7, 2017 (Friday)

NOTE: All players will be allowed to participate this camp whether their team is in the tournament or not. Teams with eigth or more players will receive a $10 discount per player, contact Bobby Pena to register your players and arrange your discount.

EARY START TIME FOR PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ONLY: Pitchers and Catchers ONLY can Check-In at 8:50am, Dynamic warm up will start at 9:20am on field #1 for PItchers and Catchers. All other players Check-In will be at 9:30am

EVENT FORMAT

The Camp includes:

Skill building & enhancement drills taught by College Coaches. These drills include: Base running, hitting, slapping, sac and sneak bunt, throwing technique, fly ball priority, pop tags, pitching/spin mechanics in detail, catcher/set up/frame/coverage/pop/catcher talk/back up rotation, infield & outfield drills, and more.

Coaches Committed to date are: Mesa Community College (JC)-Grady Morehead, Pima College (JC) Armando Quiroz, (JC), Embry Riddle University-Rudy Baca (NAIA), Scottsdale Communty College-Freddy Cabanillas (JC), Phoenix College-Megan Johnson (JC), South Mountain Community College-Christa Pfenninger (JC), South Mounatin Community College-Frank Gomez (JC), Gateway Community College-Alex Fajardo (JC), Otowa University-Leah Lucas (new NAIA in Surprise, AZ)

 
CAMP INFORMATION

Information for all campers:

  • 10:15am Check-In is at Thorpe Park Friday July 7th.
  • 10:40am Introduction from College Coaches to Players and Parents.
  • 10:50am-3:30pm The Camp Start and Conclusion. (30 minute Lunch Break at 1:00pm)
  • (We will provide gatorade for all players at the conlcusion.)

Required Equipment for Participants: Standard Girls Fast Pitch equipment, NOCSAE approved head gear, athletic clothing and standard Fast Pitch approved bats and cleats.

Note: A detailed camp agenda will be emailed to parents two days prior to Camp date. Please check your email for Camp details. There will be a 30 min lunch break, so please make sure your campers bring their lunch/snacks and plenty of water.

      Hello, my name is Bobby Pena. I am the owner of 9 STARS SPORTS, as well as, the acting USA Softball of Arizona Commissioner. My goal is to host quality events that provide young athletes competitive skill building opportunities during our camps and tournaments. Likewise, I provide recruitment opportunities through camps and showcases for the upper division athletes. I take pride in the work I do and staff I hire.
