First 104 players to register online will secure a spot in this Camp.

EVENT FORMAT

This FRIDAY JUNE 15th INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP schedule will be written and taught by Colllege Coaches:

Skill building & enhancement drills taught by College Coaches. These drills include: Hitting, slapping, throwing technique, fly ball priority, pop tags, pitching/spin mechanics in detail, catchers/set up/frame/quick hands/quick feet/catcher talk, infield & outfield drills, and more.

NOTE: Afternoon Scrimmage games; College Coaches will be in the dugout instructing players. Some Coaches may be behind the backstop.

Per College Coaches; Times below are subject to change. In the event of time changes all participants will be notiifed via email. We want to make sure all Campers receive ample repetiions with the skill improvement drills being taught.

  • 11:00am Check-In for PITCHERS and College Coaches only.
  • 11:30am Dynamic warmup and drills for PITCHERS only
  • 12:45pm Check-In for CATCHERS only
  • 1:00pm Dynamic warmup and drills for CATCHERS only
  • 2:00pm Check-In for all INFIELDERS & OUTFIELDERS
  • 2:15pm Dynamic warmup and drills for INF./OUTFIELDERS
  • 3:30pm BREAK (30 minutes)
  • 4:00pm Hitting & Slapping
  • 5:15pm SCRIMMAGE GAMES on four fields (7 inn. games)
  • 7:15pm Summary talk; College Coaches to players and parents

Required Equipment for Participants: Standard Girls Fast Pitch equipment, NOCSAE approved head gear, proper athletic clothing and standard Fast Pitch approved bats..

Note: A courtesy reminder Camp Outline will be emailed to parents of Campers who have registered online and provided email address. Please check your inbox on Tuesday July 18th for Camp Outline. There will be a 30 minute lunch break at 1:45pm, please make sure your campers bring their lunch/snacks, water and gatorade. Additionally, an extensive menu of authentic New Mexican food will be available onsite by a certified vendor.
