    Participating Teams: This event is for Gold or High Skill Level A type teams. Your team may need to be approved to participate in this event. Contact Bobby Pena at 623 329-3813 for your team to be approved.

    NOTE: To secure your spot in this tournament please pay in full or make a deposit of $150. A Division will be closed when the maximum amount of paid teams has been reached.     This is NOT a stay-to-play event. NO extra fees for any of our tournaments. We accept your teams seconday insurance, does not have to be USA Softball insurance.

    EVENT FORMAT for College Recruiitment Games

    All Age Divisions 5-GAME Format: All games are designed to play 1 hr 45 min or 7 innings whichever comes first. Will have 2hrs 10min scheduled between games on Saturday and 2hrs on Sunday. In the event a team is ahead by 8 runs after 1hr 40min of play, this will be considered a Run Rule and will complete the inning. At 1hr 45min. clock buzzer will go off, umpire will inform teams "Time has expired will finish the inning."

    Pool Play Champion: On Saturday, teams will play three pool games. The winning team of each pool will receive a Pool Champions Plaque. Sunday, teams will play the final two pool games base on seeding in Pool Play. On Sunday 1 seeds will play each other, 2 seeds will play each other, 3 seeds will play each other, 4 seeds will play each other.

    Games will be played at Rose Mofford Sports Complex (6 lighted fields), Desert West Sports Complex (4 lighted fields)

    All Fields are dirt infield, lighted, 200' fences, ample warm up space.

    Each park has concessions and plenty of parking space.

    Rules are based on keeping the games as competitive to tournament value as possible.

    Turn in lineup card to home plate umpire prior to coin flip.

    All games are designed to play 7 innings within a 1 hr 45 min no new inning after time period. Games are scheduled 2hrs 10min apart on Saturday and 2hrs apart on Sunday. Hustle in and out, 1 minute between innings or five warmup pitches whichever comes first. No huddles in the circle except first inning.

    Run Rule: 10 runs after 1hr 35min. of play. A team that is up by 10 runs or more after 1hr 35min, the inning will be completed.

    MAY BAT ENTIRE LINEUP: MUST maintain batting order.

    NEW! COURTESY RUNNERS for Pitcher and Catcher only: First; If there are bench players not in the batting lineup, these players must be used as Courtesy Runner. Second; If you are batting your entire lineup then, the last batted out may run for either the Pitcher or Catcher as a Courtesy Runner.

    NEW! REGARDING GHOST BATS: For this event both the Blue and Gold Ghost bats are ok to use.

    Team listed first will occupy 1B dugout. If team playing last game is in 1B dugout, that team will maintain that dugout.

    May use EP (Extra Player) anywhere in batting llineup when batting ten or more players. An EP may also play on defense without announcing the change. Can also use FLEX/DP if you like.

    Free Substitution on Defense!

    One coach may be outside the dugout during defensive inning. No buckets and no chairs of any type allowed on field.

    NO Protest: All calls will be final on the field with plate umpire.

    If game is tied after 1hr 45min, the game will end in a tie. All games are finish the inning, there is no drop dead.

    Games will end at 1hr 45min finish the inning if 7 innings have not been completed.

    EJECTIONS: Head Coaches are responsible for your fans and assistant coaches conduct. Any Coach or Fan that is ejected will be asked to leave the park and is not allowed to return for the next game. If two ejections by the same adult, that adult is not allowed back in the park for the remainder of the event.

    ZERO TOLERANCE: No alcohol, no smoking, no swearing, no threatening statements, no aggressive physical contact with any individual, no defacing city property. If any of these occur, the individual will be dismissed from the park immediately and will not be allowed to return.

    NOTE: All teams participating in this event will be covered with RPS Bollinger weekend secondary insurance. All players and coaches will be covered while inside the field of play during pregame warmups and games. Teams are not covered off-site with RPS Bollinger Insurance.
